OGM aims to create and supply “work ready” workers who meet immediate industry requirements from India and within Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. Through recruitment and training, OGM offers recruitment testing and vocational training, both contextualised to local industry needs at costs that enable a high volume of worker placements. Since 2015 OGM has trained and placed more than 20,000 workers with a 90% placement rate, evidencing the quality and emphasising the priority of quality worker placements with our partners.

The OGM Model is to reverse match recruitment and training to industry and specific project needs. This delivers a “just in time” concept of training and recruitment, providing required skills at the time, and in the place, where they are needed.

Case Study: Bapco Modernisation Program, Bahrain

In 2020, OGM was contracted to deliver training for NSH Bahraini employees under the Bahrain Government’s “Bapco Modernisation Program” (BMP), comprising 26 batches of 25 employees (650 intake). The program delivered 400 plus successful graduates, who were then employed by NSH across a range of high demand skills including welding, pipe fitting, scaffolding, instrumentation, electrical assistants and safety officers.

The program invited unemployed Bahraini nationals referred from the Ministry of Labour, to up-skill candidates with skills that would ensure employment — benefiting both trainees and their families, while positively contributing to the goals of the Bahraini Government to train, support and drive employment of Bahraini nationals.

Over a three-year period, inclusive of COVID impacts, the BMP program delivered the leading training and employment program for Bahraini nationals within the Kingdom — a strong result for all parties involved.
